Cost is $300 and processing is an extra charge based on weight (approx $100). Typically you will get 20# of meat depending on how you choose to have it cut and packaged. Let us know and we will put you on the list for our next processing date.
For 2024 we're offering 13 Angus/South Poll cross steers, born on a regenerative farm in Kentucky that shares our commitment to natural, grass-based, regenerative practices with no grain, vaccines, antibiotics, or chemical pesticides.
The cost for 2024 is $8 per lb of carcass (hanging) weight, including processing. On average, a 1/2 cow weighs around 252 lbs, producing about 165 lbs of packaged beef.
Estimate a cost of around $2,000 for a 1/2 cow and $1,000 for a 1/4 cow. Please keep in mind that each cow is unique, so weights will vary.
