I started farming in 2018 and learned quickly that if I wanted to be successful that I couldn't do things the traditional way. In 2019 I learned about rotational grazing and expanded to regenerating the land, holistic management and working with nature rather than against her. I hope I never stop learning.

Part of our holistic context on our farm is education, both for my continued learning and also to share what I've learned with other producers.

Background

I did a lot of Rodeo, bull riding and bull fighting during high school. I knew then that I enjoyed working with livestock. After 9/11 I joined the Army and deployed to Baghdad. Upon returning home I bounced around for a few years looking for my place again. My wife and I purchased our farm in 2018 and I have found peace among the cattle on fresh grass.
