Haired Sheep

We have carefully selected our sheep flock to be healthy, hardy, disease and parasite resistant, with few foot issues and not super flighty. They are mostly Katahdin or Katahdin/Dorper cross with a bit of Back Belly. We use electric high tensile perimeter fencing and daily moves with poly braid and step ins. The sheep are on pasture year round. They are with cows and our livestock guardian dogs plus chickens and horses. These should be easy keepers, perfect for homesteader or hobby farm.

Maremma Livestock Guardian Dogs

Our Maremma livestock guardian pups (Jan 30) and have been on pasture with mum and dad their whole lives. They are with our cattle, sheep, chickens and horses. They are friendly and approachable but not Pets. They are not aggressive toward their livestock or humans. We host pasture walks with them and have not had problems. They are also not wanderers and have not left our electric perimeter fence. We have intact males available. Vet checked and puppy shots done.
