About Red Leg Farms

Our Story

Our Livestock

Our Livestock

Nick did some rodeo when he was in high school, and enjoyed working with the livestock.  When 9/11 happened he decided to join the army and served in Iraq.  When he came home  he needed something to focus his energy on.  We saved and scraped, even sold his motorcycle to buy our home farm in 2018.  Working with the livestock brings so much peace and happiness to us.

Our Livestock

Our Livestock

Our Livestock

We have a mixed herd of mostly Scottish Highland Cattle and Katahdin Haired Sheep.

Highlanders are a heritage breed of cattle originating in the highlands of Scotland.  They are a slow growing breed that finishes well on grass.

Katahdin Sheep are a hardy breed that does not need to be sheared, they are bred for meat.

Our Mission

Our Livestock

Our Mission

We use natural approaches to regenerate the land with happy, healthy, nutritious livestock. GOD is first on our farm and we keep his perfect design in mind with every management decision.  We are blessed to be able to continue learning, refining and growing.  We have a duty to share our knowledge with other producers and customers.

Happy Soil, Happy Livestock, Happy farmers, Happy customers.

Happy Livestock

Using natural methods and rotational grazing we raise 100% grass fed beef and grass fed lamb.  We do not use fertilizers, grains, chemicals, hormones or antibiotics.  Our animals are cared for with the highest welfare standards and raised the way GOD intended, on green pastures with plenty of sunshine.  We are a veteran owned farm raising grass fed Scottish Highland cattle and Katahdin sheep.

We use regenerative agriculture practices with minimal inputs.
